One year of EYWA: what the assistant can do a year on
On September 23, 2024, EYWA did one thing: answer and explain in three languages. Over the year it added documents, business tools, Telegram, images, voiceovers and file reading. Here it all is in one article — with links to the detailed write-ups.
Where we started
At launch, EYWA was a chat that understood Uzbek, Russian and English and kept the context of the conversation. More in “We launched EYWA”.
Documents and Telegram
In November EYWA started handing over finished Word, PDF and Excel files instead of text to copy — “Documents in the chat”. In January it came to Telegram: the same assistant, no separate app — “EYWA in Telegram”.
Business tools
In December EYWA started working for companies too. Telephony answers and routes calls: numbers, voice menus, queues, call recording and AI review. The contact center brings Telegram, Instagram, email and calls into one queue with tickets and a dashboard.
A voice agent answers inbound calls: it understands the question, creates a lead and calls in a person when needed. And the AI hub puts AI on top of the company's processes: the agent answers by your rules and documents and creates a booking, order or invoice itself.
Images and voice
In March EYWA learned to draw: logos, posters, banners, product photos — “Logos, posters and images”. In May, to read text aloud in a natural voice in three languages — “Voiceovers”.
Files
In July came file reading: contracts, price lists, spreadsheets and photos of documents. EYWA finds deadlines, amounts and penalties and shows where to look — “Reading files”.
What hasn't changed
There's a lot more EYWA can do, but the essentials are the same. It still answers in Uzbek, Russian and English, and its Uzbek is still natural, not a translation from Russian. You can still start for free with no card. And you still ask the way you did on day one: in plain words.
If you're opening EYWA for the first time, these prompts show a year of work in five minutes:
- “Write a leave request” — a Word file.
- “Draw a logo for my bakery” — several options.
- “Voice this announcement in Uzbek” — an audio file.
- “Here's a contract, find the penalties” — an answer with clause references.
Bottom line
In a year EYWA went from a chat that answers to an assistant that hands over finished work: a file, an image, a voiceover. Thanks to everyone who asked questions and told us what was missing — that's how new features came about. If you haven't tried it yet, start today; it's free.
