We launched EYWA: an AI assistant that understands Uzbek

Asking an AI something in Uzbek has been a lottery: the answer came back with mistakes, or in another language altogether. Today we're launching eywa.uz — a chat assistant that understands Uzbek, Russian and English and answers in the language you asked in.

What EYWA is

EYWA is a chat assistant. You ask a question in plain words and EYWA answers. We built the language model, the infrastructure and the product ourselves: the text chat isn't a wrapper around someone else's service.

We've been building communication and business platforms since 2009. EYWA is the first product we're opening to everyone, not just to companies.

Ask it the way you'd ask a friend

No special commands needed. “How do I register as a sole trader?”, “What should I cook for dinner?”, “Explain fractions to a child” — EYWA answers to the point and in plain words.

An everyday question and a clear answer without jargon.

EYWA remembers what the conversation is about. You can follow up, ask for a shorter version or a different explanation without repeating the question.

Three languages in one conversation

EYWA understands Uzbek, Russian and English. Its Uzbek is natural: the sentence is built in Uzbek from the start, not translated from Russian word for word.

Asked in Russian, requested in Uzbek — the context of the conversation stays intact.

How to start

  1. 1Open eywa.uz and sign in with your phone number or email.
  2. 2Ask your first question in any of the three languages.
  3. 3Follow up and push back: EYWA keeps the context of the whole conversation.

You can start for free, no card required.

Prompts to start with

  • “Explain fractions to a child” — an explanation using a pizza, no jargon.
  • “Make a one-week workout plan for a beginner” — a day-by-day schedule with rest days.
  • “Translate this email into English and make it more polite” — a translation with a softer tone.
  • “Come up with 10 Uzbek names for a coffee shop” — options with a short note on each.
  • “How do I tell my boss I'll miss the deadline?” — a ready phrase and a couple of tips.

If an answer doesn't fit, say what's wrong: “shorter”, “simpler”, “with an example”. EYWA redoes it without losing the thread. You can push back too: if you know the answer has a mistake, say so and EYWA will recheck and correct itself.

Bottom line

EYWA is an assistant that speaks your language and explains things like a person would. This is only day one: we'll write here about what's new. Open the chat and ask the question you've been putting off.

Try it on your own task

Open the chat and send what you need right now. 120 messages a month — free, no card required.
